First time in Rwanda

I recently had the honor to join Water Aid Sweden on a trip to Rwanda, to film and take photos for their campaigns in 2018. The trip was truly an eyeopener. We visited villages where before Water Aid came, the locals had to walk 1,5-2 hrs one-way to get water. The water usually came from lakes or swamps, which means it was dirty or infective. Women needed to bring their own water to the hospital when going into labour. Now these people have access to clean water right outside their houses. Water Aid is truly saving lives, by investing in sustainable solutions. I'm very happy I went on this trip. Rwanda sure is beautiful!
