The You Look Great Social Club…
…is a global movement that exist to spread awareness of the fact that every human being is beautiful. The mission is to spread kindness and compliment people to build self esteem everywhere.
As a photographer, I meet people from all walks of life — from the faceless to the famous. One common thing on almost all my assignments is that people find it hard to be their true selves. Too often I hear, “I don’t like my [insert body feature here] because of [insert excuse here].”
One day a few years ago, I made a simple cap that said “You Look Great.” I started wearing it to every shoot. It became a daily reminder — to compliment the people around me, and to let the message do the talking even when I forgot to say the words myself.
Everyone is welcome to the You Look Great Social Club. There’s only one rule: spread the message — compliment others, uplift them, and remind them they look great, too.
